Registration Instructions

  1. Point your Web Browser to:  www.nedrama.org. If your school blocks access, try it from home. Find the sections titled, Festival Participant Registration Forms and Festival Participant Information. Click on each item to download to your computer. 
  2. When saving these files, please add your state initials and abreviated school name to the begining of the file name. Example:  NH-Gilford-festival_registration_form.rtf
  3. Many of these files are available in 2 or 3 formats. RTF is Rich Text Format. DOC is Word document format. PDF is Adobe Portable Document Format.
  4. Download and open the Festival Registration Form.rtf or .doc. Fill it out and email it to your host. Do this now. This begins the dialog between you and your host. If you are uncertain of the responses to some of the questions, just indicate that on the form with "???" and email it anyway. Your host really needs information early. You can always send additional information later. If you resubmit an updated form please change the revision date in the lower right corner and indicate in the email what has changed.
  5. Download and open the NameTagList spreadsheet file. Enter the name of your school and show at the top. Enter the names of everyone you are bringing to the festival including students, directors and chaperones. Include the Position/Role of each person such as: Crew, Set Design, Hamlet, Director, Chaperone, etc. If a meal plan is provided at the festival, put a "Y" in the appropriate columns. Email it to your host. Email additions, deletions and corrections later as needed.
  6. Download and open the Performance Approval Form.rtf or .doc file. Fill out the top section and Print this form. The faculty advisor and principal both need to sign this form. FAX this form to your host. Mail a copy to your host and bring a copy with you to the festival.
  7. Download and open the Content Notification Form.rtf or .doc file. Fill it out and email it to your host even if there is no quesdtionable content in your show.  Bring a copy with you to the festival.
  8. Download and open the Publicity Form.rtf or .doc file. Fill it out and email it to your host.
  9. Download and open the Medical Release Form.rtf or .doc file. Fill in the school-years and name of your school. Print it. Distribute copies to your students. Collect these, alphabetize and photocopy a duplicate set. Bring both copies to the festival. Keep one set with you at the festival and give the other set to the folks at the registration desk at the festival.
  10. Download and open the Special Needs Form.rtf or .doc file. Fill it out and email it to your host.
  11. Download and open either the Program Page Booklet Size.rtf or .doc or Program Page Fullsize.rtf or .doc file depending on which size your host requests. Edit as needed. Email it to your host. Email additions, deletions and corrections later as needed.
  12. Before going to festival download, print, distribute, and review Theatre Etiquette.rtf or .doc or .pdf with all students and adults going to the festival. 
  13. Before going to festival download, print, distribute, and review Forum Participant Guidelines.rtf or .doc or .pdf with all students going to the festival.
